Police in Shenzhen are punishing drivers who dazzle other road users with full-beam headlights by making them stare into the lights for a minute, it's reported.

Shenzhen Traffic Police posted photos of the campaign in action on their official Weibo account. "Tonight we are carrying out punishments using a high beam.Once caught, you'll sit on this green chair for 60 seconds," the post reads.
深圳交警在他們的官方微博賬號上展示了此次整治行動的圖片,，微博寫道：“今晚整治亂開遠光燈，查到就坐這把‘綠椅子’好好體驗一分鐘,！”
深圳交警表示，此次整治行動主要是“兩看兩考一處罰”體驗式執(zhí)法,，“兩看”即讓違法者現(xiàn)場適度體驗自己車及其他車遠光燈照射,，感受危害（experience the high beams and their impact），屬自愿不強制（this punishment is voluntary not compulsory）,；“兩考”即民警現(xiàn)場考司機何為遠光燈,、如何正確用，并講解,；“一處罰”是處罰300元記1分,。
