月餅,、賞月,、團(tuán)圓,，用英語(yǔ)怎么聊中秋,？

小涼風(fēng)一吹,，中秋就來咯！作為我國(guó)傳統(tǒng)佳節(jié),，中秋節(jié)和許多節(jié)日一樣,，講究的是團(tuán)圓，那么在這個(gè)團(tuán)聚的日子,，即使不能回家,，也要和好朋友們抱團(tuán)過節(jié)才行。中秋節(jié)傳統(tǒng)大家都很熟悉,，但是隨著中國(guó)節(jié)日越來越國(guó)際化,，你能夠用英語(yǔ)介紹中秋習(xí)俗嗎？

1.Enjoy the sweet moon cakes － 月餅小口吃

For a long whilein my childhood, moon cake is another name for the Mid-Autumn Festival. These sweet little things sweep the countrywhen the day comes, it’s probably the biggest kindin Chinese pastry. You have your Beijing-style moon cake, your Cantonese-style, your Ninbo-style, and when it comes to fillings, there are lotus seed paste, sweet bean paste, and salted yolk or whatever. Now they even have western things in the moon cakes, like coffee and chocolate. All together in a small cake, just one bite and it’s like heaven. Anyway, one thing I love about our traditions is that we always relate our special days with food, that’s the spirit.

在童年的相當(dāng)一段時(shí)間里,，我一直把月餅跟中秋節(jié)劃等號(hào),。每到中秋，這些小甜食就橫掃全國(guó),。月餅可能是種類最多的中國(guó)糕點(diǎn)了,，我們有北京系的月餅，廣東系的還有寧波系的等等,，從餡料來看又有蓮蓉的,，紅豆的,，蛋黃啊什么的，現(xiàn)在甚至還有咖啡餡和巧克力餡這些“洋口味”,，所有的精華都揉在一個(gè)小小的餅里,，咬一口下去就好吃的飛起了�,？傊�，我很欣賞我國(guó)傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日總是與食物相聯(lián)系,，這才是過節(jié)的精神嘛,。

Tips：

1）a long while就相當(dāng)于a long time，泛指很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間

2）sweep the country是橫掃全國(guó),，火爆全國(guó)的意思,，sweep在這里可以理解成很流行。相當(dāng)于all over

3）pastry是指糕點(diǎn),，并且一般是指油皮和酥皮的糕點(diǎn),，并不能泛指我們中文里常說的點(diǎn)心，甜點(diǎn)這些,。烘焙在西方飲食文化里非常巨大的一塊,，所以與烘焙有關(guān)的詞匯也是很多很細(xì)致的。

4）我們通常說a kind就是一種,，而a big kind就是指很大一類,，包含很多樣式的一個(gè)種類。

5）口語(yǔ)中常說的it’s heaven或it’s like heaven,，可以理解成流行語(yǔ)里常說的,，上天了，飛起了,，也就是形容感覺非常棒,。例如：

We kissed for the first time and, God it’s heaven.

我們第一次親親的時(shí)候，感覺簡(jiǎn)直妙極了,。

2.Enjoy the full moon watching － 賞月正當(dāng)時(shí)

When was the last time you actually admiredthe moon? As for me, I can hardly recall. But in the old timespeople watch the moon all the time, it’s a shamethat we don’t appreciate nature these days. But not in the Mid-Autumn day, only once in a year we get tosee this shining full moon so please grab the chanceto take a walk with the ones you love in the moonlight. That way, we are not entirely losing who we are.

你上一次凝望月亮是什么時(shí)候,？對(duì)我來說，真的已經(jīng)記不清了,。舊時(shí)候人們非常熱愛賞月,，而現(xiàn)在我們慢慢不再那樣對(duì)自然景觀充滿熱情了，這說起來也是很遺憾的,。不過在中秋這一天可以是個(gè)例外,，每年也就這么一天，我們可以看到散落著光芒的滿月,，所以請(qǐng)一定珍惜這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),，跟你愛的人一起在月光下踱步,，留下這段時(shí)光。這樣欣賞自然的天賜,，我們才算留住了一些本真呀,。

Tips:

1）admire，watch還有g(shù)aze都可以來表示賞月,，畢竟?jié)h語(yǔ)博大精深,，一個(gè)賞字就此處無(wú)聲勝有聲了，但是英語(yǔ)里表示“賞”這個(gè)意味的詞卻有很多呢,，可以根據(jù)語(yǔ)境來選擇,。通常在不太正式的語(yǔ)境里，用watch the moon就可以表達(dá)到賞月的意思了,，而滿月一詞可以說full moon,。

2）recall這個(gè)詞我們平時(shí)可能接觸的不多，或者說許多時(shí)候把它跟remember搞混了,。一般表示想起,，記起的意思都可以用recall，但remember更多表達(dá)的是記憶,，記住,。

3）the old times就是過去的意思，一般指年代稍久遠(yuǎn)一些的過去,。

4）口語(yǔ)中常說的what a shame我們都知道是遺憾的意思,，這里shame就有遺憾的義項(xiàng)

5）these days是最近，近些時(shí)候的意思,，一般是指時(shí)下,，當(dāng)下，可以是幾天到幾年之內(nèi)的時(shí)間范圍,。

6）get to do是可以做某事,，能夠做某事。

7）grab the chance其實(shí)就是take the chance,，grab在這里就可以理解為抓住,，跟我們常說的抓住機(jī)會(huì)是一樣的。

3.Enjoy the get-together － 團(tuán)圓不能忘

It’s not a piece of caketo get everyone home in the holidays any more. Most of us are now living a busy life, it’s hard to make timecoming home to our familyeven in this special day. But let’s at least keep the spirit, those who can’t get back home don’t have to be alone, a little get-togetherwith friends could be nice, also give the festival a little more meaning. It’s really about being together.

讓家人能在假期團(tuán)聚已經(jīng)不是小菜一碟的事了,，大部分人都過上了忙碌的生活,，即使在中秋這個(gè)日子能回家團(tuán)圓很難了。不過我們至少應(yīng)該留住節(jié)日的精神,，那些不能回家的人也不必非得孤單的自己過節(jié)啊,，能跟朋友們小聚一下也是不錯(cuò)的。這樣也讓中秋有了更深的一層含義，也讓團(tuán)圓更具深意,。

Tips：

1）a piece of cake可以理解成我們常說的小菜一碟,，就是非常容易做到的事。

2）live a busy life是過忙碌的生活,，相應(yīng)的把busy換成其他的形容詞也是可以的,。

3）make time就是擠時(shí)間，抽出時(shí)間來做某事,。

4）come home to somebody不一定是特指回到誰(shuí)家,，而是指回到某人身邊。

5）get-together相比起我們常常聽到歪果仁說的party可能更陌生一些,，跟party相比get-together規(guī)模更小,，可以理解成小聚（滬江英語(yǔ)）
