職場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)：同事們?nèi)毫臅r(shí)如何“插嘴”

課堂討論時(shí)，公司開(kāi)會(huì)brainstorming時(shí),，同學(xué)聚會(huì)爭(zhēng)論某個(gè)問(wèn)題時(shí),，都需要我們適時(shí)表達(dá)自己的意見(jiàn)。怎么樣表達(dá)才能讓別人聽(tīng)到并注意到呢,？今天,，我們就來(lái)說(shuō)一說(shuō)表達(dá)意見(jiàn)的不同方式。

1. 表達(dá)自己意見(jiàn)

I think that... 我認(rèn)為... （最簡(jiǎn)單的表達(dá),，也最直接）

It seems to me that... 在我看來(lái)... （可以用作表達(dá)意見(jiàn),，或者總結(jié)或者認(rèn)可對(duì)方說(shuō)的話）

I would argue that...我是這么看的... （這里面用would來(lái)弱化語(yǔ)氣）

Just to go along with what you said... 順著你剛才說(shuō)的，... （這句話,，真的很好用，承上啟下,。這句話還好在,，它使你現(xiàn)在插話看上去很合理，因?yàn)槟闶菫榱隧樦�前面的那個(gè)人繼續(xù)說(shuō)）

Going back to what ** said... 回到剛才**說(shuō)的,，... （同上,。不過(guò)一般是你已經(jīng)說(shuō)了幾句，此事,，想要與別人剛剛提到過(guò)或者蜻蜓點(diǎn)水說(shuō)的的東西扯上點(diǎn)關(guān)系,。這句話的好處就是,，一能讓別人看到我的說(shuō)法和你是有一致之處的， 二能表現(xiàn)他剛才說(shuō)的東西你還有印象）

2. 同意或者反對(duì)

I agree with you. 我同意你說(shuō)的,。（最簡(jiǎn)單的）

Building on what XX has just said, ....就剛才**說(shuō)的,，...

I am with you..., but [main point]. 我明白你的意思，不過(guò)... （這里I am with you不一定表示同意也不一定表示反對(duì),，它主要的意思是說(shuō)"你說(shuō)的我聽(tīng)懂了/我跟上你說(shuō)的了）

I follow your logic, but have you thought about/considered this... [main point]...? 你說(shuō)的我明白了,，但是你有沒(méi)有想過(guò)...（和上面一句話的邏輯是一樣的）

I see what you are saying, but I'm not sure I would argue that... 我明白你的意思，不過(guò)我不確定我的觀點(diǎn)與你一致... （和上面兩句話的邏輯一樣）

With all due respect, I think... 恕我直言,，我認(rèn)為...

3. 謙虛的反對(duì)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't [a different topic]...? 如果我說(shuō)錯(cuò)了,，請(qǐng)你們指正，不過(guò)是不是...?

I'm not an expert on..., it seems to me that... 我在這方面是外行,，在我看來(lái)...

I might be wrong, but ... 可能我理解錯(cuò)了,，不過(guò)...

I suspect that I lack some information about this aspect, but here is my two cents. 可能我對(duì)這方面的信息了解不夠充分，我的看法是...

I am not sure about this..., you might want to check with Professor X... Would you mind letting me know what he/she says? 這個(gè)我不太確定,，或許你可以找XX教授確認(rèn)一下,。到時(shí)候麻煩你告訴我一下他是怎么說(shuō)的，可以嗎,？

This is one way to look at it. Another way to look at it might be.... 你這是一種看法,，我另外還有一種看法是...（這句話通常在別人說(shuō)了一堆之后，為了引出自己的觀點(diǎn)時(shí)使用）

4. 疑惑追問(wèn)

Just to clarify,... 我想確認(rèn)一下...

May I ask a follow-up question? 我能就你說(shuō)的問(wèn)個(gè)問(wèn)題嗎,？

Could you say more (about it)? 你能多解釋一下嗎,？

Could you elaborate on this? 你能詳細(xì)解釋一下嗎？

上述的句子都是在聽(tīng)了別人的看法之后,，不確定自己是否理解正確,，所以追問(wèn)，讓別人詳細(xì)解釋一下,。

5. 會(huì)議報(bào)告,、演講之后提問(wèn)

That's an amazing model/useful concept, but it occurred to me that [this/something] might also play a role....Have you considered ...?

Thanks for your talk. I completely agree with your conclusion, but as I'm sure you're aware, Dr. XX explains this in a different way, and I was wondering if you could address her theory.

這種提問(wèn)的開(kāi)場(chǎng)白多是肯定之前報(bào)告和演講的意義，然后再提出自己的問(wèn)題,。

"but as I'm sure you're aware"完全是給對(duì)方一個(gè)臺(tái)階下,，可能那個(gè)理論他根本沒(méi)有考慮過(guò),。但是如果對(duì)方是比較資深的，我們也需要客套一下,。

6. 尋求幫助

I was wondering if I could talk to you about...

I was hoping that if I could talk to you about...

I was wondering if it'd be possible that you...

上述句子均表示：不知我是否可用跟您請(qǐng)教.../您可否...

這種句式一般都是用過(guò)去時(shí),，在email里面也是如此。而且,，雖然was wondering/hoping這種進(jìn)行時(shí)看起來(lái)很怪,，但是用法就是這樣子的

Sorry to bother you, Professor X.... XX教授，抱歉打擾您,。

I realize this is an unusual request... 我知道這樣的要求有些不合常理,。

I realize that you are very busy... 我知道您很忙。

Thanks for your time.謝謝您抽出寶貴時(shí)間,。

It would be great if you could... 如果您能夠...那就太好了,。（這個(gè)是最常用的，尤其是email里面）
