　　Cai Shen （財(cái)神） aka Deity of Wealth,， from the name we shall know,， they are Deities that are able to control the wealth or fortune for the mortals。
　　Since the day when mortal knew how to use money to exchange for other stuffs,， Deity of Wealth appeared,， not for blessing for mortals to become extremely rich， but to control the flow and movement of the money that involved in the mortals‘ activities,。

　　民間傳說正月初五是財(cái)神的生日，所以過了年初一,，接下來最重要的活動(dòng)就是接財(cái)神,。
　　財(cái)神是中國(guó)民間普遍供奉的一種主管財(cái)富的神明。一般認(rèn)為有所謂“正財(cái)神”趙公明,，“文財(cái)神”范蠡,，“武財(cái)神”關(guān)羽，“偏財(cái)神”五路神,、利市仙官,，“準(zhǔn)財(cái)神”劉海蟾等。

　　“正財(cái)神”：世人奉祀的財(cái)神,，最為人們熟知的財(cái)神,，影響最大的則是“正財(cái)神”趙公明。

　　“文財(cái)神”：范蠡（lí）,，自稱陶朱公,，是一位文財(cái)神。他是春秋戰(zhàn)國(guó)之際杰出的政治家,、思想家和謀略家,，同時(shí)也是一位生財(cái)有道的大商家。

　　“武財(cái)神”：關(guān)圣帝君即關(guān)羽關(guān)云長(zhǎng),。傳說關(guān)云長(zhǎng)管過兵馬站,，長(zhǎng)于算數(shù)，發(fā)明日清薄,，而且講信用,、重義氣，故為商家所崇祀,，一般商家以關(guān)公為他們的守護(hù)神,，關(guān)公同時(shí)被視為招財(cái)進(jìn)寶的財(cái)神爺。

　　“偏財(cái)神”：文武財(cái)神是民間所謂的正財(cái)神,，在正財(cái)神之外,，還有偏財(cái)神，這是就財(cái)神所在的神像位置而言的。民間的偏財(cái)神經(jīng)常是指被稱為“五路神”的財(cái)神,。

　　“準(zhǔn)財(cái)神”：在中國(guó)民間信仰的眾多財(cái)神中,，有一類只能算作是準(zhǔn)財(cái)神，意為未得財(cái)神封號(hào),，但由于此神能為人們帶來一定的財(cái)運(yùn),，承擔(dān)了一部分財(cái)神的職責(zé)，于是人們就將其作為財(cái)神看待,。劉海蟾就是其中最具代表的一位準(zhǔn)財(cái)神,。
