　　DIRECTV just did a survey that explored the relationship between TV shows and intelligence.

　　It polled universities in the US and compared people's SAT scores to the TV shows they enjoy and watch most. And that early evening classic Friends was the favourite for people who perform best in exams.

The Simpsons , which was also the most popular show from respondents, joined the likes of Top Gear, Sherlock, House of Cards, Seinfeld , and South Park as choices among the more academically gifted viewers.
